General terms and conditions

DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA

Jornada do Vento, Lda. (henceforth designated Duotone Pro CENTER viana) OFFERS THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:


•    Windsurfing, Kiteboarding, Stand up Paddling, Foiling as well as lessons, clinics and courses.
•    Renting-out of watersports equipment as well as other types of sports equipment.
•    Rental of storage boxes and places for private equipment.
•    Organizing sporting events, trainings or other related activities.

 

1. Object

The present regulation aims to determine the civil conditions and responsibilities of costumers who may sign temporary deal with a fixed rental term and use of sport equipment with Jornada do Vento, Lda, henceforth designated Duotone Pro Center, taxpayer number 509 991 823, with its headquarters in Praia do Cabedelo, building Aquário Bar, 4900-160 Viana do Castelo.

 

2. General Provisions

Rented equipment to the costumers are exclusive property of Duotone Pro Center Viana and are destined to aquatic sports at Praia do Cabedelo or another location, as long as the costumer notifies previously Duotone Pro Center Viana of this matter.

 

3. Terms and Conditions

Terms:

  1. The client agrees to take on responsibility for possible damages or loss of equipment and accessories during the rental period.
  2. The client has the responsibility and the obligation to knowledge and comply the rules of navigation and defined usage for the several beaches.

 

Conditions:

  1. The signing rent contract will only be performed when the client provides a copy of an identity document. The copy has to be autorized by the same.
  2. The client is required to perform an inspection of the equipment when picked up. At the end, the equipment should be in the same state when it was delivered to the client.

 

4. Rental Prices:

The presented prices include the Vat at the prevailing rate.

The client may check the price list at the reception desk.

5. Insurance and Accidents:

As a touristic maritime operator (RNAAT:1705/2017), we own a civil responsibility and personal accidents insurance.

The client is always responsible by any caused damages in the equipment, third parties and to himself.

 

6. Damages:

  1. In case of any type of damage, rented equipment susceptible of mending, by delinquency of the customer, the same should warn immediately Duotone Pro Center Viana and deliver the equipment at the Center. Duotone Pro Center Viana will charge the calculated amount of the time the equipment will not be used and the value of repair.
  2. In case of damages of rented equipment, between the client and third parties, the client is the entirely responsible.

 

7. Damaged equipment:

In case of total damages, total loss, theft or robbery, the client is subject to pay to Duotone Pro Center Viana the amount shown in the chart in force of the present year.

 

8. Time Tolerance

There’s a 30 minutes tolerance for each renting option. If that period is exceeded, it will be charged the following rental option of the chart.

 

9. Omissions

For the omission cases in this regulation, the parties will rule by the law in force.
