DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA

Jornada do Vento, Lda. (hereafter referred  to as Duotone Pro CENTER viana) OFFERS THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:


•    Windsurfing, Kiteboarding, Stand up Paddling, Wing Foiling, Foiling as well as lessons, clinics and courses
•    Renting-out of watersports equipment as well as other types of sports equipment
•    Rental of storage boxes and places for private equipment
•    Organizing sporting events, trainings or other related activities

 

1. Object

The purpose of this regulation is to define the civil conditions and responsibilities of customers who enter into temporary contracts with a fixed rental and use period of sports equipment with Jornada do Vento, Lda., hereafter referred to as DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA, taxpayer number 509 991 823, with headquarters at Praia do Cabedelo, Edifício Aquário bar, 4900-160 Viana do Castelo.

 

2. General Provisions

The equipment rented to customers is the exclusive property of DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA and is intended for the practice of water sports on Praia do Cabedelo, or another location previously communicated to DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA.

 

3. Terms and Conditions

Terms:

  1. The customer agrees to assume responsibility for possible damage or loss of equipment and accessories during the rental period.
  2. The customer has the responsibility and obligation to know and comply with navigation rules, as well as norms and recommendations established by competent authorities to preserve their physical integrity and that of others.
  3. The customer declares that they do not have any health problems that prevent them from participating in SURFING / KITESURFING / WINDSURFING / WINGFOIL / SUP activities and does not hold DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA responsible for any related issues.
  4. The Customer warrants that they are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol that may impair their ability to perform the activity safely. They acknowledge that if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, their participation in the activity or equipment rental may be refused and/or canceled without any right to a refund.

 

Conditions:

  1. Rental is only authorized when the customer provides a copy of their identification document and authorizes the rental.
  2. It is mandatory for the customer to verify the equipment's condition at the time of pickup as it must correspond at the time of delivery.
  3. Rental Prices The prices indicated include the value-added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate. See the price list at the counter, available for consultation.
  4. Insurance and Accidents, as a tourist maritime operator (RNAAT: 1705/2017), we have liability and personal accident insurance in our school activities. In Rentals, customer is always responsible for damages caused to the equipment, third parties, and themselves.
  5. Damages:
    1. In case of any repairable damage caused by the customer to the rented equipment, they must immediately inform DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA and return the equipment to the center. DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA will charge the customer the corresponding amount for the calculated period of equipment downtime and repair costs (see the repair price list).

    2. In case of damage to the rented equipment between the customer and third parties, resolving the dispute is entirely the customer's responsibility.

  6. Damaged Equipment In case of total damage, total loss, theft, or robbery of the rented equipment, the customer is subject to paying the amounts listed in the prevailing PVP table of the current year to DUOTONE PRO CENTER VIANA.

  7. Images: The customer authorizes the capture and recording of their images as well as their use for promotional, advertising, and dissemination purposes, without any temporal or geographical limits. This authorization covers the use of images in any communication media, including but not limited to television, internet, press, and social networks, always respecting the dignity, honor, and privacy of the image rights holder.

  8. Time Tolerance There is a 30-minute tolerance for each rental option. If this period is exceeded, the value of the immediately following rental option will be charged.

  9. For omissions in this regulation, the parties shall be governed by the current Portuguese law.
